Dave and Sandy Smith

 

We are a husband and wife team of professional photographers, We love being married, and we love weddings where we  can work together  with a passion for creativity, quality, and customer service.  We did call ourselves Mr. and Mrs. Smith but we’d rather shoot you and not ourselves!

We have been photographing together for over 25 years, developing an eye for composition and skills in Photoshop and album designing. We are based on the Wirral in the North West of England but are happy to travel for commissions. Our work focuses on the areas of weddings, events and travel. We are situated in the wedding centre of West Kirby, just a stone’s throw from a bridal Shop, a cake shop and wedding stationary and favours shop – see the bridal links at bottom of the page. So while in the area why not come and see us? You could sort most of your wedding requirements in one easy area! Your day is our day and we would consider it a privilege to be your photographer.

Creative Photography

We take full advantage of the flexibility that the digital revolution has brought to photography. Our style is a mixture of formal and candid /reportage photography – having two photographers means all the angles can be covered. We put no limit on how many shots we take in a day. This often runs into the many hundreds providing us with a vast resource with which to record and provide you with a story of the day. We use carefully researched professional companies to print albums and images and have albums to suit all requirements and styles, including coffee style books, traditional albums and high end bespoke storybook albums to record those precious memories.

Love to travel – cities like Venice,  Dubrovnik, Seville and Prague are firm favourites for architecture.  We also enjoy hiking in the alps of Austria, Switzerland and Italian Dolomites for the amazing alpine scenery.  Our passion for photography extends here as we capture the vistas.  We are often contacted for images for publication and are pleased that they have been published in books and guides.  Check out our travels on virtualtourist website. They say there’s no place like home and we are fortunate to live in beautiful West Kirby by the marina, the sunsets are legendary and we often dash out to capture the stunning skies over the Dee Estuary.
