Wedding of Michelle and Edd
Just over a week ago we had the pleasure of being the photographers at Michelle and Edd’s wedding.
Service was held at LLwynegrin Hall, Mold followed by reception at the newly re-branded Village Hotel, St David’s Park, Ewole.
For a February wedding we were blessed with dry weather and bright skies, although a little cold.
Michelle arrived in a cream Daimler, provided by Chester Wedding Cars, who have an extensive range of cars available.
Michelle looking stunning in her ivory Italian designer wedding dress, was inspired by our last wedding, which featured a dog bridesmaid, and chose to have her beloved Poppy to assist with the wedding rings. which Best Man, Michelle’s brother, was keeping safe in his sporan!
Originally booked for just a few hours, at a late booking back in January…but we ending staying til the evening party and we were glad we could capture the fun and entertainment provided by Nick, the best man, himself an accomplished entertainer and available as a wedding and event singer. Listening to him as I write this!
Michelle and Ed generously insisted that we not only stay for a meal but also to sit with their guests who in turn made us so welcome. So thank you Michelle and Edd and all your family and friends for giving us the pleasure of capturing and sharing your wedding. We wish you many more happy, blessed years together.
Below are a few favourite images and plenty more in Michelle and Edd’s on-line gallery. Michelle is a bit of a traditional girl at heart but I hope we also managed to capture other fun and informal shots too – some of which are for their eyes only

Stephen and Belinda’s Joyous Wedding
The word joy summed up the order of the day for Stephen and Belinda. A beautiful country church wedding in Ashton by Stone – although we did think it was Dibley when we arrived as the soloist was singing “The Lord’s my shepherd” most exquisitely. Five beautiful bridesmaids and that included Daisy the dog, virtually inseparable from Belinda. The months of preparation paid off with beautiful details, the grooms suit was chosen to match the cars and perfectly complemented the creams and blue of the bride and bridesmaids. A reception followed at the beautiful venue of Sandon Hall, S taffordshire, the gardens resplendent with autumn colours. Favours of Wedgewood china tea cups filled with roses typified the quintessential English country wedding they desired. Steve and Belinda’s cake was also a marvel of detail – the cake toper was made in their likeness with Dr Steven checking her heart with his stethoscope, his little girl with Daisy dog, even Belinda’s cat was not missed out. We love to capture these detail shots, so much time and thought goes into them its good to be reminded of them in years to come.
It was a real pleasure to share their joy on this wonderful occasion and we wish them even more happiness to come, they deserve it. We hope we have captured the emotions for them with the many pictures we took.

Wedding of Howard and Helen
Pixsmiths had the pleasure of photographing at the wedding of Howard and Helen on Sat 17th July. Ceremony was at the beautiful Christ Church, Port Sunlight and a reception at the Village Hotel, Bromorough. Firstly our thanks to Alan, Helen’s nephew , who kindly allowed us to join him to capture shots as well so he too could also enjoy his family wedding and care for his children.
The sun shone on this lovely couple, but not too bright for the photos! Their story of how they met and their journey to this wedding day had many twists and turns along the way…plus the minister was instrumental in bringing them together so it was wonderful that he was the one to marry them. Many congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Roberts as they begin their new life together. Wishing you much happiness in the years to come. Below just a small selection of the pictures. All the images taken will provide a great choice to make a beautiful book for Howard and Helen.
…and here’s a little slideshow video put together….please remeber this is a web version and does not reflect actual of final product quality.

Looking for alternative transport ideas for your event? How about a monster truck Limo? They look such fun!
We strolled down to the prom at West kirby and up rolls this big red monster truck and alighted some bright young girls dressed up to the nines.
At first thought it was a hen party but then saw the equally dressed up guys in their smart suits. Turned out they were on their way to a school leavers prom and were enjoying a ride around in this unique Limo – the only one of its kind in the world. The limo seats eight passengers and has a bar, six TV’s (one 50” TV), leather seating with strobe and neon lighting. The Limos can be hired from MD-travel and Beverley Hills Limousines, based at Southport, Merseyside. Other styles are available too like Knight Rider and a fire-engine limo – apparently popular with firemen getting married. A real novelty touch and definitely something different. Check out their website for full details.
Below a few quick pictures snapped last night.

Just to say got our mini moo buisness cards the other day and happy they have turned out quite well IMHO.
Not meant to replace full business card but these smaller thinner version have their own usefulness.
For example for including as a tag with print orders, can be placed inside wedding order of service so clients have ready contact for viewing on-line galleries., or placed on tables without being too much of a distraction from the table decorations. They come in a neat box so could easily be placed alongside a wedding guest book – the options are endless! I love how you can have different designs on them – not stuck to the same image for each order so it can show a range of photographic styles and products. Plenty of room on the reverse for contact details etc… Really neat, hope you like them!
