Kings Church Wedding:  Danielle & Dennis

A Brazilian and Welsh fusion feast of a wedding

Oh Danielle  and Dennis what a glorious day and time we had with you at your Kings Church Wedding we loved every second!
Your welcoming home church where you worship.  Such warm hearted people and church family to support you
The church was transformed by the Wedding Collection from Moreton and your personal touches
Their order of service was a clever fusion of the colours of their national flags morphed onto their figures.
A beautiful violinist played prior to the ceremony which was filled with heartfelt worship songs and a special message
Emotions running high, Dannielle, trembling as she bravely walked down the aisle by herself (her family in brazil) to her waiting Dennis
Such looks of love and pride  you gave each other, made our hearts swell too!

From the moment we met we warmed to each other and was evident  their pictures were very important to them.  Definitely our type of couple!
They deliberately chose an early ceremony on our advice for the time of year to give plenty of time for their pictures without rushing yet still being with friends.
Time to mingle with their guests and enjoy a finger buffet and cake and sweets – very important in Brazilian customs!  before we left for Port Sunlight
The beautifully package favours of BEMN-CASADO represent the sweet union, sealed with love and mutual respect. According to Brazilian  custom it has magical powers.
Every guest who tastes a BEM-CASADO will be blessed with the same happiness as the newly weds…just have to make a wish before the first bite.

They wanted to factor a good time in good light for their portraits in Port Sunlight so we had a good 2 hours to hop around to several locations
The tin cans rattling behind on Denni’s car told of their joy on their wedding date and fusion of their Brazilian and Welsh nationalities
Onto the Village Hotel Bromborough to rejoin with their guests for evening dancing and more cake!
A wonderful day of celebration of the marriage of such a warm hearted loving couple.
Danielle and Dennis we wish you much joy in this new chapter of your love story.
We trust these images will provide you with lasting memories.  Sandy & Dave xx

Autumn Inglewood Manor Wedding Photographer :Chellsi & David

We so love a wedding at Inglewood Manor!I Weddings anytime of year are special but Autumn Inglewood Manor Weddings are extra special.   I know not supposed to have favourites …but just can’t resist.
Its a gorgeous country house venue set in beautiful gardens and with attentive staff. Perfect for a wonderful wedding at Inglewood Manor.
When Chellsi and David announced their engagement there was a whoop of delight from us – we had met this couple before at previous weddings where  Chellsi was Bridesmaid
..and an even bigger cheer  they they asked us to cover their wedding at Inglewood Manor.  We were available, it was a done deal!

Chellsi and David have been together a few years, have travelled widely so was no surprise to see an announcement when on holiday earlier this year.
We got to know them better on a pre wed shoot in Ashton Park in West Kirby.  Their joy and sense of fun was infectious, we knew we were in for a good day on their wedding whatever the weather
Their images from the shoot made a beautiful keepsake guest signing book, popular with our couples

Wedding Day Preps Inglewood Manor

Well the day dawned clear and bright. Chellsi got ready at Inglewood Manor with her bessies and cute flower girls
Her dress from Cherish the bride was gorgeous and long! …took some getting down from its lofty perch but we managed
Was really happy could stay with the girls and get a lift to the church later whilst Dave went ahead
means can get so many more images – the girls loved their bracelets gifts
Plenty of time to get some shots with all the the girls and get some sweeping shots of Chellsi on the stairs

St Paul’s Hooton Church Ceremony

We had photographed at St Paul’s, this gorgeous Italianate church before.  Layered brickwork like a wedding cake, a lovely church to photograph in.
heartfelt readings and Sing Me Merseyside Choir added that personal touch to the ceremony too
Its rare a church will do weddings on a Sunday – had to check a few times we had the date right! ..but St Paul’s do after their Sunday service
Chellsi was proudly led to her waiting groom by her mum,  a stunning entrance she made
Sunshine was out so it was groups at the church so everyone could enjoy themselves at Inglewood Manor.
The wedding cars did a couple of trip which meant the newly weds had a few precious minutes all to themselves, not even us around
Take time for these minutes brides …they are a rarity on your wedding day. so glad Chellsi and David had these moments together

Wedding at Inglewood Manor Wedding Reception

So we arrived at Inglewood Manor and made the most of the autumn colours,  the trees had a glorious golden colour
Taking some time with some portraits as we knew it would be dark by the end of the meal.
The speeches were brilliant, Chellsi’s sister making an emotional speech, the best man with his well timed quips – it was laughter all around
The merriment continued into the evening dancing, with Frank keating on hand to keep everyone in the loop and provide his Mr and Mrs game
Sparklers rounded off a perfect evening – pitch black by then but we got the shots!

Many congratulations Chellsi and David on your autumn Inglewood Manor wedding.
It was truly a privilege to be with you and wish you many more years of joy and health
love Sandy & Dave xx

Liverpool Wedding Photography: Jemma & Daniel

Liverpool Wedding Photography: Jemma & Daniel

Jemma and Daniel’s Liverpool Wedding Photography

ooh it had been a while since we met Jemma and Daniel to discuss their Liverpool wedding photography
We chatted about their plans and loved the story of how Daniel proposed with he help of their adorable twin girls
Rowing boat trip in the lake district and Daniel asks Jemma to get something out of a bag.  T-shirt from the twins saying “Mummy will you marry Daddy“?
How cute was that!  Well of course Jemma said yes!   and so they started to plan their day

Liverpool Wedding Preps

Jemma and Daniel were getting ready round the comer from each other so it was easy to cover both bride and groom preps
Jemma’s at her mum’s room was the busier with a total of 10 bridesmaids and flower girls so it kept us occupied! jemma was super organised and already had hair and make up done when we arrived some 3 hours before the ceremony  Still lots of details and candids to capture before they left for the church
it was great to chat to the girls and to get to know them ahead of the day

Bridal prep details

Liverpool Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony took place at the renowned St Peter’s in Woolton.  many visit here for the grave of Eleanor Rigby of Beatles fame
and also the resting place of  Bob Paisley, former Liverpool Football club manager. In fact one of his sons is the verger at St Peter’s
Today was all about celebrating a wedding though and we loved the banner greeting everyone as they entered this beautiful church
Delighted to be able to capture the reactions from in front and behind at this church
Jemma looked stunning in her dress with its gorgeous lace sleeve detail and all those bridesmaids supporting her
Daniel got to twirl in front of the guests in his dapper blue suit before Jemma entered
Emotional singing by one of the bridesmaids during the signing of the register, think a few tears were shed
Soon all the guests were spilling outside to enjoy the sunshine.
few formal groups done and confetti exit to the reception

Liverpool Wedding Reception – Devonshire House

The reception was taking place at the Devonshire House Hotel on Edge Lane
on the way we made the short stop to Reynolds Park – just a few mins from the church
A favourite place of Jemma and Daniels and the sunken garden and walled garden were perfect for some time  for them to relax from the guests
and to capture some gorgeous relaxed portraits for them.
The Devonshire House was a good option to have the large group shot so with the kind assistance of Les McGrath all the guests went outside for a quick pic
The room had lots of ambience with its purple/pink up lighting.  Jemma and Daniel looked like Royalty on their top table thrones too!
Fish and chips before the speeches and an Chinese buffet for after the dance wen down really well
Well entertained with the band too – everyone had a great time on the dance floor

Thank you Jemma and Daniel for asking us to capture your day – glad it was everything you wanted and we enjoyed being with you and your guests
wishing you much happiness and love  Sandy & Dave xx

Llangollen Wedding ,Chainbridge Hotel Wedding Photography: Gina & Adrian

Llangollen Wedding ,Chainbridge Hotel Wedding Photography: Gina & Adrian

Llangollen Wedding Chainbridrige Hotel : Gina & Adrian’s Trainfest !

When two people who meet and fall in love over their train jobs, then this Llangollen Wedding trainfest of a day was the perfect scenario for them and their guests to enjoy
Gina kindly set out all her details for us to photograph whilst she had her hair done straight after breakfast …it was an early start with an 11am wedding!
A ceremony on llangollen train station just suited them to a tee.. A small intimate ceremony , Gina was given away by her brothers  and think we spotted some tears as she met her waiting groom
Guests were treated afterwards to a steam train ride trip along the gorgeous Dee River to Corwen and back.  Stopping at Carrog whilst the engine turned round provide some unique images!

Also for Gina there were elements of Beauty and the Beast to this theme with music and the blue roses in the domes on the wedding tables …oh and of course her Disney pumps!
For their unique train details they had their names on the steam train.. Place names on tables were copies of rail tickets from Cambrian Coast Express.

Such a relaxed fun day, plenty of time to enjoy after the ceremony on the platform – with exclusive use we could do group shots and portraits here before getting on the train
Gorgeous scenery to view as guests enjoyed their wine. On the return guests alighted  at the quaint Berwyn Station to cross the suspension bridge over to the fantastic Chainbridge Hotel with it s glorious river setting.

We took Gina and Adrian,  onto the pretty Horseshoe Falls …with a stop to chat to the Canal Barge Shire horse along the way – such a treat for Gina who loves Shire horses
Back to the Chainbridge Hotel for the wedding breakfast, but not before friends surprised them with a spade serenade on the suspension bridge…many of their friends work on the steam trains so very apt!
Couple of speeches and then time to party – literally time for Gina to let her hair down!

So a fantastic day for this unique wedding which we booked through Bark.  Gina had a few quotes through the lead generation company Bark ..some were way cheaper but wouldn’t show a portfolio strangely enough.. Gina and Adrian were so delighted with their images  and glad they found us.. Such a joy and a privilege to capture your day guys   Glad you had good weather for your amazing day – it just flowed and was just what you wanted. Hope you enjoy these highlights  – ooh got carried away with so many pics!  much love to you and your gorgeous precious little boy.  How cute dd he look in his little suit!

Leasowe Castle Wedding Michelle & Shaun

Leasowe Castle Wedding Michelle & Shaun

Leasowe Castle Wedding: Michelle and Shaun

Delighted to cover a short Leasowe Castle wedding for Michelle and Shaun
Their neighbours kindly referred us so thank you Kris and Niecey!
Michelle and Shaun required just a few hours coverage from just before ceremony til sitting down for their meal
It’s possible to cover a fair bit when there are two of you!

We set off from home in horrible rain but by time we go to Leasowe it was a different story! The sun was out!
Dave went off to meet the men and Best Women, long standing friend of Shaun’s
Sandy popped up to the girls, literally just  as Michelle was just about to step into her dress.  Perfect timing!
Girls were in great form and plenty of prosecco flowing to calm any nerves.
Few details captured and soon it was time to head down  for the ceremony with some bridal portraits on the stairs along the way

The Keep Ceremony Leasowe Castle Wedding

The ceremony took place in the relatively new Keep (formerly the gym!) .  Its a bit of a blank canvas but beautifully transformed with flowers and candles by the resident venue dressers. The flowers draped from the ceiling beams were delightful and in keeping with the clean lines of whites and greens for this colour scheme.
A few giggles along the way and Shaun and Michelle were pronounced man and wife.

Turret Suite Reception Leasowe Castle Wedding

A few groups and portraits and time to mingle with guests before entering for their meal in the Turret Suite
This suite is a more cosy room on the upper floor, suitable for a smaller wedding party
The tables were all named after their beloved pets – great idea, not seen that one before
Some lovely touches on their tables and the gust book pen made a good setting for our ring shot
we left them to enjoy their food and evening festivities

Many congratulations Michelle and Shaun, wishing you much continued happiness. love Sandy & Dave
