Wedding at The Manor
Saskia and Andrew contacted us when they realised their original wedding photographer was not not going to show up 🙁
We were glad we could help them out and restore their faith in photographers, they are such a lovely couple and they should not have been in this situation.
A civil ceremony at Wallasey Town Hall for their wedding was enjoyed by the respective families and children – many of Saski’s relatives had made the trip over from Germany.
The Town Hall has recently been decorated and we love the new green colour scheme. The stairs are always a feature inside an outside the steps overlooking the estuary always make for some great shots.
A reception was held at the The Manor in Greasby – always fabulous food and service there – in the barn function room. The weather was warm enough for people to mingle in the courtyard garden outside.
We got some shots of the room and a cake cut shot before leaving them to enjoy their meal….and then surprised them by coming back in the evening to capture some dance shots.
Being just a short distance away we wanted to do something for this lovely couple after they had lost their deposit.
They were so happy and we have now designed them a beautiful album to preserve their memories.
Here a few highlights from the day to enjoy – showing a good example of posed and candid, reportage style shots we like to take.

Catching up with some engagemet sessions still! This time its Kath and Peter’s turn for a pre wed shoot enjoying a stroll around West Kirby marina and beach.
Not long to their July weddding – a local affair at the URC West Kirby where we had the pleasure of shooting their friend Dan and Sam’s wedding – in fact Dan will be best man and Sam matron of honour.
Reception will follow at Inglewood Manor – oneof our favourite venues.
It was a bit of a grey day but hopefully these images cheered them up so enjoy a few of their images from their session with us.
Pete had a hand in designing Kath’s ring – making sure it included some swirls which she loves!
Soon we will be jetting off for a holiday and to enjoy the world cup fever at some lively European bars after hiking in the alps.
When we return we will have ou focus in the upcoming wedding of Claire and Michael who have been together for a number of years , so not exactly an engagement shoot!
Their wedding will be at the Palm House in Sefton Park ad it was another park that was chosesn for their pre wedding session with us – – BirkenheadPark.
A pleasan stroll with their family, around the lake and boathouse and swiss bridges was enjoyed and here are some of the pictures that we took for them.
Cottons Hotel Wedding photography
A new Cheshire venue for Wirral wedding Photographers Pixsmiths Creative Photography – The Cottons Hotel in Knutsford for the beautiful wedding of Anna and Simon. Preps and ceremony all on one site so we could capture a few shots of the boys as well as the girls getting ready. A slight dress malfunction literally just prior to the ceremony caussed a few “moments” but its a bride’s perogative to be a little late and Anna was certianly worth waiitng for – she lookeed stunning..and I think we dtecteda few tears of joy from the groom – we always love to capture those emotions and special looks. The rain stopped in time for us to capture soome group shots outside before the wedding breakfast ensued. This time a surprise from the groom for Anna – the deeds and title of Lord and Lady to estate in the Glencoe Woods in the scottish Highlands…the reaction was fabulous! Please now address them as Lord and Lady Barton! Dancing and a photobooth in the evening to keep everyone entertained. A thoroughly enjoyable wedding and many congratulations to Anna and Simon and their son James. here just af ew of their many highlights. Full gallery on line and prints and or files can be ordered.
If!s no secret that Royden Park is one of our favourite places to take our couples for a pre wedding shoot. Something different every time as the garden changes with the seasons and new projects there from the amazing team of volunteers. For Sarah and Stu’s session the Laburnum arch was in full bloom and was a stunning setting. Lots of pretty areas in the garden and then onto the nearby mere for some more delightful shots. Really looking forward to their wedding at Nunsmere Hall Hotel in September with its own gorgeous gardens and mere. Enjoya few highlights.
Angela and Darren had their fairytale wedding day with all the trimmings of a Peckforton Castle wedding – such a priviledge for Pixsmiths to capture their memories there.
Wonderful to work with Tonay and Sara from Marry Me Films too who helped us so much – hope its not too long before we see each other again on a wedding.
Bridal preps in Liverpool first, thanks to the ladies from Flossy & Leigh Make-Up Artist Company and then off to Peckforton Castle to meet the men and await the girls arrival before the ceremony.
Mango the owl behaved impeccably flying in the rings – amazing to be able to capture this as it happens so fast, but loved seeing the expression of joy on everybody’s faces.
Guests enjoyed a hands on experience with the birds of prey before and after the ceremony- always a special treat at Peckforton Castle.
A butterfly release for loved ones not able to be here was another first for us. Lots of fun for the kids with a bouncy castle on the castle’s green too – so much going on!!
Beautiful reception in the hexagonal dining room – the elaborate spectacular Choccywoccydoodah cake was amazing work of confection.
Pretty pastels of green and pink suited the spring theme perfectlly
Lots of fun with a photobooth, a casino and dancing ensued in the evening to round off a wonderful day – DJ andthe sparkly dancefloor were provide by Hipswing Entertainment Ltd
The night lights of the Castle was pink to match the colour scheme too – perfect end to a wonderful weddding.
Many congratulations Angela and Darren – here a few of their highlights. Enjoy x
