Ashton Park Couple Shoot with Chellsi & David
I confess I gave a big whoop of delight when I saw Chellsi post on facebook her engagement to David
..and an even bigger one when they contacted Wirral Wedding Photographers Pixsmiths to cover their wedding this coming October.
We had previously met Chellsi & David at other weddings – Anna & Simon, where she was bridesmaid and Jemma & Frankie’s wedding.
She has an infectious laugh and a warm heart. This was supposed to be a beach sunset shoot but hey with our British weather we live to be flexible and have a plan B!
So we ended up in Aston Park and it turned out really well! I think Chellsi and David enjoyed their stroll around Ashton Park with us …as did their dog Toby.
he definitely didn’t want to be left out!
Such a great couple and really looking forward to their autumn wedding at one of our favourite venues Inglewood Manor.
Royden Park Couple Shoot: Danielle and Dennis
Back at Royden Park for another engagement shoot – this time with Danielle and Dennis
We never tire of visiting here, always something new to discover, new options for pics>
What a sunny-natured couple – their joy was so evident.
plus Danielle picked the perfect outfit for the shoot she loves the colour yellow – brings so much sunshine and fun
Danielle and Dennis had never been to the walled garden at Royden Park or the little nearby mere
Royden Park is run by the local council and has a handy cafe in the coach house courtyard run by volunteers too. More information on the Park here
They were enthralled with the location and the floral beauty. Even more so when they saw the Laburnum arch – almost in full bloom – well a match made in heaven!
We met one of the rangers just beforehand who gave us updates on the garden – nearly time for poppies to bloom. Also the kestrel is still residing in the old tower and is currently sitting on 5 eggs.
If you go in to the coach house – just by the Barking mad cafe there are monitors in there so they can check for the new hatchlings. Must go again soon!
For now enjoy a few of the images from the session. Dennis will be marrying his beautiful Brazilian bride in October this year and we can;t wait for another day capturing their happy smiles
Wirral Engagement Shoot
A stroll around Royden Pak with Laura & Dan
We dodged the rain for this lovely Wirral engagement shoot with Laura and Dan. An hour before wet ..and later on in the evening it rained.
We had a perfect window of weather – not too hot/bright but fresh colours after the rain made it just right…plus very few people around so even better!
Lots of colour and features in the walled garden, The laburnum arch is almost ready, some good coverage for this shoot though, always a popular location.
Just a brief stop here as rangers were closing up early but still plenty of other areas in the park to explore. The heron on the mere even made an appearance for us!
Their daughter Rebecca is going to be a flower girl for their summer wedding next year. …they thought she might be shy and would be a good idea to bring her along to get to know us.
Well she was far from shy, a model in the making …almost stole the show! she Loved the camera and the camera her!
Laura and Dan were just so natural, and a treat for Dan’s birthday too. We really can’t wait for their wedding ..they are going to be a dream>
Its not til next summer but Laura and Dan have taken advantage of a weddign fayre special and have one of our fabulous weddign apps where guest can RSVP,
save the date to their calendars and see the schedule and locations for thee wedding. Their app has now been updated with highlights from this Wirral engagement shoot
Its a useful wedding app that will that will continue to be added too after the wedding and be a lovely digital keepsake of their wedding journey.
It was a fab session and so many images captured ..here just a few we hope you enjoy. All their engagement images will be provided with their wedding images on our prettily packaged USB
Engagement Shoot Burton Manor
We blooming love Burton Manor engagement shoots!
So happy that there is a team of volunteers to look after the gardens
and that it i funded byt the heritage lottery fund.
How cute and relaxed do Alex and Natasha look in these images
We are so glad they found some time to have an engagement shot with us
and we know they feel so much more confident and prepared for their wedding day soon!
Even though we have been here a few times already we keep discovering new areas
and each time diffident colours different blossoms with the seasons.
This time we had to make use of the bluebells near the orchard
We were spoilt for choice again for locations in the garden and for different ring shots!
Their May wedding is packed with amazing suppliers going to be a fantastic day
and we simply cannot wait to get more images of this lovely couple.
Spring Engagement Shoot Royden Park
A Spring late afternoon just when Royden Park was quietening down was the perfect time for a stroll with Emily and Josh for their engagement shoot.
Royden Park is one of our favourite areas – its different throughout the seasons. Always something new to discover
We chatted about their wedding plans and captured some shots in between the giggles …there were quite a few giggles!
Rather than going round the mere few opted to go up to the heather fields on the way to Thurstaston – a walk that Emily and Josh are familiar with.
Always helps to be somewhere you are comfortable with and a t ease. We discovered that Emily and Josh are friends with a previous Pixsmiths couple, Beccy and Rob who also had an engagement shoot at Royden Park. Check that one out too
Emily and Josh were so relaxed and so into each other they were such a joy to photograph. They made it so easy for us to capture great natural images.
The yellow gorse provided a lovely splash of layering and colour to the spring greens and and the old tower a romantic backdrop.
We know their wedding is going to be so much fun we really can’t wait!
You can see from these few images (all images will be on their wedding usb too) the joy and chemistry they have …sizzling!
These are just a few from their session!
We welcome any couple engaged or not to enjoy a relaxed couple shoot with us.
Our couples brochure gives you lots of useful hints and there is a link to get in touch to book your session with us
Exploring Burton Manor for their Pre wed Shoot
its pre wed time and we ever get tired of exploring Burton Manor. A quiet haven of a charming garden and always something different, changing with the season.
here is how Burton Manor looked in the autumn
This time the spring magnolia blossom caught our eyes.
Shame its a little neglected but that adds to its rustic charm. So many nooks and crannies and often have the place to ourselves.
Almost loathe to share about the place as its great just as it is ..quiet, almost forgotten …it really would make a great wedding venue but needs a lot spending on it
….maybe one day..
Anyway a perfect place for some relaxed couple shots with Alison and Ellis ahead of their Chester wedding next month.
We enjoyed a lovey time with them and looking forward to their day in May
Their images will be used for a personalised guest book which makes for a wonderful keepsake
