Inglewood Manor Wedding Venue
Inglewood Manor Cheshire Venue
We have several favourite country house venues that we love to shoot at and the Cheshire wedding venue of Inglewood Manor is right up there in our top 3.
Inglewood Manor is a restored Edwardian Manor House with 29 bedrooms and several function suites. Inglewood Manor is now part of luxury Boutique Hotels Group,
being bought in summer 2018, which also encompassses Peckforton Castle and Nunsmere Hall Hotel. These are also fabulous Cheshire wedding venues we enjoy shooting at.
Rooms and Grounds of Inglewood Manor
It’s always a joy to document a wedding here, options with the rooms and the gardens are extensive with woodland, gates and ponds and arbours. Always something different to shoot.
We have shot weddings in the Executive suite (the dark panelled room), the Burton Suite downstairs, (now with its new bi-fold doors) and the white room on left of reception area.
The garden area at rear of the Burton Suite has been opened out to make the best of the views across the estate, so now the view from this room is lighter and more expansive.
The extent of the gardens lend themselves to options for other wedding ceremony sites – especially with new laws coming out, considering legally binding ceremonies outdoors.
Plus at a recent wedding it was interesting to hear of the plans teh new owners have for this fab Cheshire wedding venue – watch this space!

Trafford Hall Rustic Wedding Shoot
Rustic Cheshire Georgian Venue
We were blessed to work with amazing creative wedding professionals on this Trafford Hall Rustic Wedding shoot.
We just love collaborating with each other, networking and supporting each other with social media campaigns and images.
So just recently we met up at the delightful Trafford Hall , a wonderful Georgian House with on site accommodation for guests wishing to stay over.
This charming rustic venue can be decorated as you wish and enjoys delightful woodland, lawns and sunken garden areas for umpteem photo opportunities for your wedding photography. As photographers we love coming here. The staff are really welcoming too and will happily advise on plans for your day.
For this shoot the decor was supplied by Sweetpea & Ivy They love this venue and have dressed Traffordd Hall many times. Always love their rustic styling, perfect for this venue. This time they provided an outdoor ceremony area and a fabulous barrel table laden with cakes and sweets created by Bella’s Cake Pantry
The delicious cakes and cake pops were were from Sue’s water colour and silver leaf collection. Scrumptious!
Place cards and menus by Pink Sherbet Stationery perfectly matched the colour scheme on the tables set up by Sweetpea and Ivy and Wirral Table and Chair Hire The tables were adorned with evergreen leaves and candles in a long wooden container, creating a warm cosy touch. Little cut glass vases with peach roses added the touch of colour to the table. The backs of the chairs were adorned with soft pastel swags, tied in the middle with a complimentary satin ribbon. The wooden floors and giant light up LOVE letters either side of the fireplace completed the elegant rusticl ook.
Pixsmiths Creative Photograph had a great time photographing the amazing Katey Elizabeth around the venue in a gorgeous dress supplied by The Wirral Wedding House The dress is a hand finished bohemian style beaded gown from Romantica of Devon.
Suited Katey so well, she made a fabulous Boho Bride!
If Trafford Hall is the venue for your style of rustic elegant wedding the staff there would love to here from you – watch out for their open days
We love photographing weddings at Trafford Hall – we have previously shot a summer Trafford Hall Wedding and would love to be back here soon so please ask for our wedding brochure and we will get back to you soon!
Reminiscing – Review of 2016
Ah what a wonderful year 2016 was, one of our busiest so far. So time for Pixsmiths review of 2016
We’ve laughed at all the funny moments and heart leapt at all the special looks our wonderful couples give each other.
We’ve cried when we know brides have lost special family members just months later…and humbled that we have given memories for them to hold onto in the dark days after
and the joy that they will recall from them. We started with a Valentines day weddign and ended with fireworks in December – a packed year!
From parks to palazzos, hotels to zoos, from beaches to rustic barns its been a year of discovering new places and challenges for old favourites.
We’ve been there from early on in the preps to party time at night with fireworks late into the night
Most of all we want to thank all our amazing couples for choosing us to capture their da, without you we simply couldn’t do this!
Also to all the wonderful suppliers we meet along the way and who support us on the day>
We look forward to meeting all our 2017 couples and new adventures we will have throughout this year
For now just a teeny look back at some moments from 2016 – enjoy the review of 2016
Williamson Art Gallery Wedding – The First!
A Williamson Art Gallery wedding what a first for this little gem of an art museum and cafe in Birkenhead
Pam and Paul were blessed with being the first couple to have a Williamson Art Gallery wedding in Gallery 4
A real privilege for Pixsmiths to capture their day, Such a unique new venue on the Wirral Wedding scene.
A wedding setting with the backdrop of the Battle of Waterloo is certainly different!
A December wedding but fortunately for Pam and Paul, mild for the time of year so pics could be taken outside.
No bridal preps required so we met with the groom and guests arriving for a few family groups first.
Soon it was time for Pam and her bridesmaids to appear, arriving in Classic Bridal Cars gorgeous Bentley’s.
Mark is like another bridesmaid for you with all his extra touches showing you how to hold your dress as you get out of the car.
Guests enjoyed waiting in the warm cafe area having a cuppa before the ceremony, having arrived by coach in good time.
Pam and Paul had an eventful ceremony, lovely poems by 3 of their guests and their daughter encouraging them to talk louder for their vows!
Afterwards more tea and biscuits whilst the group photos and a quick few portraits taken in the galleries.
Mark again was great at helping with the groups and engaging with the crowd – oh and the baby Bentley ever popular for a few pics!
Onto the Manor Restaurant in Greasby for the well more of a party than a reception – just what this couple wanted.
The function suite is in the original millhouse – ideal for a small wedding celebration.
The favours also had the Art Gallery connection – jars of Honey from their gift shop
So just one simple speech from the groom and no first dance just a great time with friends and family.
Oh and guests trying to outdo each other with Christmas jumpers …but no one expected the groom’s evening attire!
Check out the pictures below!
Pam also had an ingenious dress change up, the lace overlay and train removed from her dress which was then teamed with a little lack bolero jacket.
So clever it looked like a different dress but wasn’t, an elegant dress choice.
Pam and Paul so glad you had a wonderful day and it was worth the wait! May you enjoy much continued happiness love Sandy and Dave x
