Lovely to work recently with wonderful wedding suppliers on a Floral Pavilion Wedding Photography Shoot (see list at the end)
The Floral Pavilion is a fabulous modern space for your wedding ceremony and reception. – receptions can cater for 50-300 guests Its waterfront location makes for great images around the promenade, overlooking Liverpool Bay, the Grade II Listed Fort Perch Rock, New Brighton Lighthouse and Marine Boating Lake. Brides and Grooms are really spoilt for options for their photography locations.
There is even a room where you can get ready – loads of natural light for make up.
The ceremony and reception set ups give an indication of how the room will be utilised if opting for ceremony and wedding breakfast here. The terrace can be used for groups and gives fabulous views across to Liverpool waterfront.
Outside the Victorian covered bench is an ideal location for bridal portraits. The nearby Fort Perch Rock and Lighthouse can also be used for stunning portraits.
You may even be able to get a picture in the theatre – subject to availability
If you are interested in a wedding at The Floral Pavilion please contact Lindsey, the Floral wedding co-ordinator to discuss your plans and check availability. Pixsmiths are always happy to chat about your photography requirements too. Please use form on our contact page
We have several favourite country house venues that we love to shoot at and the Cheshire wedding venue of Inglewood Manor is right up there in our top 3. Inglewood Manor is a restored Edwardian Manor House with 29 bedrooms and several function suites. Inglewood Manor is now part of luxury Boutique Hotels Group, being bought in summer 2018, which also encompassses Peckforton Castle and Nunsmere Hall Hotel. These are also fabulous Cheshire wedding venues we enjoy shooting at.
Rooms and Grounds of Inglewood Manor
It’s always a joy to document a wedding here, options with the rooms and the gardens are extensive with woodland, gates and ponds and arbours. Always something different to shoot. We have shot weddings in the Executive suite (the dark panelled room), the Burton Suite downstairs, (now with its new bi-fold doors) and the white room on left of the reception area. The garden area at rear of the Burton Suite has been opened out to make the best of the views across the estate, so now the view from this room is lighter and more expansive. The extent of the gardens lend themselves to options for other wedding ceremony sites – especially with new laws coming out, considering legally binding ceremonies outdoors. Plus at a recent wedding it was interesting to hear of the plans teh new owners have for this fab Cheshire wedding venue – watch this space!
Inglewood Manor Weddings Throughout the seasons
Whatever the season – spring, summer, autumn or winter – there are always areas to shoot and enjoy outdoors ad especially indoors Here are a selection of favourite images throughout the seasons at Inglewood Manor

Have you been to any Mere Brook House Events? Do you know about this welcoming Edwardian country house? Its a real gem set in the Cheshire countryside. A five star Edwardian country house venue. It has extensive gardens , almost 4 acres with its beautiful trees, quirky little statues dotted around and the brook it is named after.
Mere Brook House Weddings
Mere Brook House is also available for business meetings, special events such as anniversaries and of course elegant relaxed weddings You can check out a wedding we covered at Mere Brook House this summer Plenty of opportunities and locations for Mere Brook House wedding photography – we liked the swing and cute rustic garden shed too.
Mere Brook House Guest Rooms
There are 8 bed and breakfast rooms, all en-suite rooms and each unique. Luxury and comfort combined. Ideal for Bride to get ready here with her maids before a wedding. There are beautiful gardens – lawns, woodland, paddock and brook for guests to enjoy a break in. Perfect also for those group shots and bride and groom portraits.
Mere Brook House Events
Also popular are their Ticketed Events, generally occurring spring and autumn seasons. We went to the pudding extravaganza last May. It was fabulous with a light main and 12 puddings to sample – all delicious. It was hard to select our top 3. Good topic of conversation with fellow dining guests. Such a memorable relaxed evening and perfect for Sandy as a cake fan!
These events recommenced again in September. – we have since been to a street fusion BBQ meal and an Italian Evening Previous events also included afternoon tea, an Indian meal and a polish menu – ooh hope they do that one again Their ethos is good home cooking in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests are invited to come hungry and to leave full – seconds always available!
They utilise much of their own grown food from their vegetable garden. They have their own delicious honey, apple juice and Mere Brook cider and home made shortbread is one of their specialities. Hampers are available for Christmas – ideal foodie presents, supporting local business
The Christmas event in December is already a sell out ..why not try the event in January 2019 which will be a Burns night! Booking is essential with Mere Brook House. You will be sure of a wonderful evening.

We were blessed to work with amazing creative wedding professionals on this Trafford Hall Rustic Wedding shoot. We just love collaborating with each other, networking and supporting each other with social media campaigns and images. So just recently we met up at the delightful Trafford Hall , a wonderful Georgian House with on site accommodation for guests wishing to stay over. This charming rustic venue can be decorated as you wish and enjoys delightful woodland, lawns and sunken garden areas for umpteem photo opportunities for your wedding photography. As photographers we love coming here. The staff are really welcoming too and will happily advise on plans for your day.
For this shoot the decor was supplied by Sweetpea & Ivy They love this venue and have dressed Traffordd Hall many times. Always love their rustic styling, perfect for this venue. This time they provided an outdoor ceremony area and a fabulous barrel table laden with cakes and sweets created by Bella’s Cake Pantry The delicious cakes and cake pops were were from Sue’s water colour and silver leaf collection. Scrumptious!
Place cards and menus by Pink Sherbet Stationery perfectly matched the colour scheme on the tables set up by Sweetpea and Ivy and Wirral Table and Chair Hire The tables were adorned with evergreen leaves and candles in a long wooden container, creating a warm cosy touch. Little cut glass vases with peach roses added the touch of colour to the table. The backs of the chairs were adorned with soft pastel swags, tied in the middle with a complimentary satin ribbon. The wooden floors and giant light up LOVE letters either side of the fireplace completed the elegant rusticl ook.
Pixsmiths Creative Photograph had a great time photographing the amazing Katey Elizabeth around the venue in a gorgeous dress supplied by The Wirral Wedding House The dress is a hand finished bohemian style beaded gown from Romantica of Devon. Suited Katey so well, she made a fabulous Boho Bride!
Ah what a wonderful year 2016 was, one of our busiest so far. So time for Pixsmiths review of 2016
We’ve laughed at all the funny moments and heart leapt at all the special looks our wonderful couples give each other. We’ve cried when we know brides have lost special family members just months later…and humbled that we have given memories for them to hold onto in the dark days after and the joy that they will recall from them. We started with a Valentines day weddign and ended with fireworks in December – a packed year!
From parks to palazzos, hotels to zoos, from beaches to rustic barns its been a year of discovering new places and challenges for old favourites. We’ve been there from early on in the preps to party time at night with fireworks late into the night
Most of all we want to thank all our amazing couples for choosing us to capture their da, without you we simply couldn’t do this! Also to all the wonderful suppliers we meet along the way and who support us on the day>
We look forward to meeting all our 2017 couples and new adventures we will have throughout this year For now just a teeny look back at some moments from 2016 – enjoy the review of 2016
