Well what an adventure this day was! An early service at St Andrews meant early preps at the spacious Hinderton Lodge for Angela and her girls – what a great place to get ready!
Make up was expertly done by the ever amzing and cool Nicola Joyce, renowned for her flawless finishes which last all day and night, accompanied by hair stylist Carol Ellis Thompson, a fabulous team. Angela’s bridal gown was so elegant with its cute lace jacket and bridesmaids in pastel green, perfectly suited this May weddding. Much to Angela’s joy she had the present of a promise of a puppy and tickets for Elton John- her face was a picture when she opened her present from Sean! Angela’s dad was dumbfounded with his gift ..lots of arranging days off for him …love seeing surprises like this!
The Bridesnaids set off with Mark Ansom of Classic Bridal Cars, to the church and en route got the message from Nicola to say there was a problem witht the brides’s car from anothe company. So a bit of delay for the service but Mark, ever prepared, went back for Angela which meant she missed the little rain shower she would of had on her planned arrival….so every cloud has a silver lining and all that! Meanwhile Sean and the men had arrived in a surprise campervan…more surprises were to follow later in the day!
So obviously Sean was a little concerned at the delay but was soon put at ease when all was explained. Specail mention to the wonderful harpists..i’m sure her fingers must have been a bit sore from all the extra playing!
A beautiful service at the church which means so much to Angela and Sean and their family, group picture taken and then it was off to Hinderton hall for the reception.
The Bride and groom decided to travel in the campervan and this so complemented the Bridesmaids’ car – an inspired decision.
The gardens at Hinderton hall are gorgeous, so many opportunities for pictures plus the bluebells in the wooded area were delightful at this time of year.
Sean also had a thing about telephone boxes too…so that was incorporated into a few shots for them.
Meanwhile Isabelle Ices were providing their popular ice-cream and bouncy space hoppers also proved enetertaining, more so for the big kids!..so much so that one split his pants ..cue Mark to the rescue again with needle and thread.!
The room looked fantastic for the reception with tall vases of pink flowers courtesy of the talented Nina’s Flowers really set the scene with the frosted purple and green favour glasses, amidst the bunting, such lovely touches. The guests had just finished their main course when a waiter “dropped” some utensils, was promply scolded by another waiter, defended by a couple of guests who were then dumbfounded when the waiters bursted into song – yes the singing waiters ! A suprise even for Sean. They blend in so well you would never know…and they created a wonderful fun atmospher with eveyone singing “It’s amore” and waving their napkins. So glad this was also ably captured on Video by Rob Whiberley of Action Videos , who also provided his ever popular Pixelbooth photbooth for the evening. The fun carried on to the evening with the magical talents of Aaron Hayes, everyone was spellbound with his tricks.
Angela and Sean so happy you had a memorable, entertaining day and thank you for letting us capture those memories for you, it was truly a special day. We wish you and your lovely family much happiness in the years to come. Hope you enjoy just a few of the many photos from the day, an epic gallery with all the activities of the day!
