Leanne and Steve have been a couple for several years, but a trip to Edinburgh resulted in a proposal and Leanne designing her engagement and wedding ring at the bespoke jewellers there, The Ringmaker..and so their planning began for a wonderful day.
Starting at Leanne’s family home for bridal/bridesmaids preps with talented MUA Nicola Joyce. The telephone call went out from the bride to Thornton Hall to say yes to the outdoor pagoda ceremony. We left the girls to finish dressing and headed for the venue, just as it started to rain and we wondered if we needed our wedding umbrellas! No need to worry, Leanne and her proud Dad arrived in style in a vintage Morris Oxford, as the sharp shower ended. The dress hoop got a little squashed in the car there was some rearranging of her beautiful Spanish style dress (in honour of her Dad’d homeland) before her entrance to the pagoda and her waiting groom. The music enticed the cows to come and watch too! ┬áThe day continued fabulously, friends and family so supportive, it was a joy to hear the speeches and how close knit, bridesmaid, the two best men and everybody was. The top table name was the street in Edinburgh where the proposal took place and other tables had Edinburgh Street names too. The air was chock full of the joy and emotion for this lovely couple. So many congratulations Leanne and Steve and much continued happiness in the years ahead.
