Sam and Dave are getting married in October so August was a good time to catch up with their wedding plans and take some images so we are relaxed with each other on the day itself. Their chosen location was close to their home, just by the Ellesmere Port Boat Museum. It proved to be a surprising location and we discovered a variety of shots to take.

The ring shot was an impromptu off the cuff shot – literally!. Sitting down with Sam and Dave for a drink at the end of the session what did I see but two red hearts on the white saucer. So quick wipe clean of tea splodges with my sleeve and got Sam to put her ring on the saucer. It may have seemed a daft idea but I hope you agree it worked a treat 🙂  Just goes to show you can’t always plan a shot and the off the cuff ones can be the most memorable! Sam love the boats so it was fitting that a huge boat went past on the canal just as the sun was shining brightly in the late afternoon. Sam and Dave were a joy to photograph, their happiness shone through and we had a blast! Looking forward to the wedding now. Below a few of the images we took.  Like a  pre-wed shoot too? – just contact us for details.
