Such a delight when Gemma and Scott approached uo to cover their relaxed family wedding Crabwall Manor
Crabwall Manor is a venue familiar to us having shot previous weddings here before.
This latest time though it was fabulous to see how the gardens have been maintained and improved.
Additions of a gazebo and a love seat are welcome too.
An afternoon wedding ceremony that rolled into the evening celebrations.
A perfect day just as they wished for and sunshine to enjoy the gardens.
Flowers for the bridal bouquet and those throughout the venue were by Flowerhouse Irby
They were stunning and vibrant, the peonies gorgeous and in full, bloom
The focus for this wedding was to be relaxed and family focused. The groups were not to be bride’s side and groom’s side but rather a joining of families – so refreshing!
The minimal groups meant guests had plenty of time to enjoy the gardens. Plenty of space for football and lawan games such as garden darts and croquet.
The secret gardens were explored too.
certainly kept the kids entertained and then later on kids young and old enjoyed the casino and dancing.
Hope you enjoy these highlights and we wish you much joy and happiness.
Crabwall Manor is a perfect venue for a relaxed venue.
Plenty of space, gorgeous gardens excellent food and staff.

Wow, it’s been a busy August and here we are for Crabwall Manor wedding Photography of Evelyn and Lewis.
Weddings at Crabwall Manor are always well organised, it has had a fab refurbishment and the staff are super helpful and professional, everything ran to schedule.
Another eagerly awaited day for this special couple – they had each emailed a surprise for the wedding for each other, just love secrets!
The morning started a bit damp but the girls were in great spirits during the prep and the time flew by as we captured them getting ready with Emma Lampkin in attendance for hair make-up duties. Â Lovely details too – just know this is going to make a fabulous album.
Oh loved the way Evelyn’s room has especially been re-wallpapered with bridal preps in mind, what a fab mum she has.
Crabwall Manor Wedding Photography – Ceremony
The bridal car arrived at Crabwall Manor – its handy clock tower is undercover so no need for umbrellas here and it was easy to access to the ceremony.
Evelyn looked gorgeous in her beautiful dress and was led to her waiting groom by her mum, a really special moment.
A beautiful poem was ready to them specially written by a relative to poorly to attend but read by her daughter.
Evelyn and Lewis chose a purple scheme for the day and the bridesmaid (her aunt) Â dress in lilac matched the colour of the flowers from Earth Flowers from Heswall and the flower decorations skillfully crafted on the wedding cake by Bella’s cake pantry. Â So lovely to have our Blue Orchid suppliers collaborating, a great way to coordinate a look for your wedding.
At the ensuing drinks reception was Lewis’s surprise  – the Carlton Ensemble playing beautiful music for all the guests to enjoy.  Evelyn’s face was a picture! With our British weather it’s always worth considering a venue’s indoor space for group shots and Crabwall Manor certainly has this option.
We shot the large group looking down from the stairwell in the big reception area by the fireplace and more formal smaller groups in the outside courtyard which is conveniently undercover.
Plenty of time to mill around and get some portraits before the wedding breakfast. Â Really tasty food …mm the Creme brulee and shortbread was divine
We were honoured to be sat with their guests too, so lovely, we were treated just like family and was really appreciated>
Evelyn’s mum gave a heartfelt speech, it was a real tear-jerker moment to see the special relationship between them and Yvonne had kept a message from Evelyn as a child which she’d treasured all these years and read out..not a dry eye in the room!
Vintage Games at Crabwall Manor Wedding
After the wedding breakfast came Evelyn’s surprise – ..and wonderfully the sun came out for everyone kids and big kids alike to enjoy the vintage lawn games courtesy of the Jolly Good Vintage Company.
There was hook a duck, tin can alley, coconut shy, splat the rat and more. Â Wonderful fun and beautifully set out too on the lawn with all the vintage touches and bunting.
Time flew by and soon time for the dancing  –  think Evelyn not only enjoyed the first dance but also dancing to the Spice girls ..and Lewis not to be undone did a rap – wow he was really good!
So happy for you Evelyn and Lewis, I know we will keep in touch and look forward to hearing more of your journey together and enjoy your lovely new home. Â much love Sandy and Dave xx
What a wonderful spring wedding at Crabwall Manor for Tanya and Jonathan, blessed with dry weather when the rest of the week had been wet.
A family affair with Tanya and Jonathan’s daughter walking her down the aisle – oh how cute was that ! Tanya’s  3 sisters were  bridesmaids and Jonathan’s brother as best man…in uniform too ladies! The staff at Crabwall are super organised – we saw their timeline of duties for everyone  – and made the day go perfectly for this fun loving couple.
Evening entertainment  with a photobooth kept kids and adults alike entertained!  Congratulations to Tanya and Jonathan, wishing you much love and happiness xx
