One Fine Day Wedding

One Fine Day Wedding

ONE FINE DAY CITY CENTRE LIVERPOOL WEDDING

It certainly was One fine day wedding day for this lovely couple’s wedding in Liverpool
So relaxed and easygoing, especially as literally only met in person before the ceremony.  We connected straight away with Aimee and Matthew.
Beaming smiles all around, nothing fazed them and were so accommodating to all.

Friends and family (well most as some of Aimee’s family were in Australia) met at St Georges Hall for the civil ceremony.
Emotional moments as Aimee entered the ceremony and during the vow.

A few groups and portraits by the colonnades of St Georges hall and then the wedding bus took them to their venue – well almost!

One Fine Day Wedding Reception

The coach actually stopped at Oh Me Oh My – a sister venue – and guests not knowing just got off and walked to One Fine Day.
The coach driver did catch up and apologise and offered to bring the bus around but the short walk was fine.
Serendipity though as it gave us an opportunity for some city centre  shots as we made our way to One Fine Day

One Fine Day is a hidden gem of an event space in the city centre.  Perfect for an elegant intimate wedding reception.
Our first visit here and hope to be back again.

On one side is a seating area for guests to relax with drinks.
Between the high columns, a long table was set out, so prettily decorated with parcels bedecked with ribbons and flowers.  It looked so elegant and chic.
An upper mezzanine can provide more space if needed for larger weddings and also provides an overhead view of the wedding breakfast and speeches.

Royal Liver Building Boardroom Wedding

Royal Liver Building Boardroom Wedding

Barbara & Colin’s Intimate Royal Liver Building Wedding

Its not everyday that the Royal Liver Building Boardroom is used for a wedding so it was a great pleasure to be asked to capture Colin and Barbara’s day here early in May.
The iconic Liver Building, a wonderful setting for a Liverpool city centre wedding and perfect for an elegant intimate ceremony and  private reception.
A really bright sunny day – we really have been blessed with good weather for the Bank Holiday this May.
Very much a family wedding with Barbara and Colin arriving together and walking into the room with a line up of Colin’s Dad and their respective sons to greet them

A beautiful ceremony in the Royal Liver Building boardroom, with its warm wood panelling, ornate ceiling and Liver bird motifs and of course river views of teh Mersey.
A relaxed wedding, lots of giggles and smiles. Even a few kisses before the official first kiss!
Soon it was time for celebratory drinks and canapes before heading to the nearby St Nicholas Gardens for some family pictures. – spot another Liver Bird in the gardens!
On the way down there was a stop at the balcony for some pictures too of the couple.  Their joy really was infectious!

A meal followed after a short speech from one of the sons, again in the boardroom.  Later celebrations were to take place at Panoramic 34, one of the UK’s highest restaurants
So glad you had a wonderful time Barbara and Colin, such a joy to capture your obvious happiness.
We wish you many more happy years, love Sandy & Dave x
