We were blessed to work with amazing creative wedding professionals on this Trafford Hall Rustic Wedding shoot. We just love collaborating with each other, networking and supporting each other with social media campaigns and images. So just recently we met up at the delightful Trafford Hall , a wonderful Georgian House with on-site accommodation for guests wishing to stay over. This charming rustic venue can be decorated as you wish and enjoys delightful woodland, lawns and sunken garden areas for umpteen photo opportunities for your wedding photography. As photographers, we love coming here. The staff are really welcoming too and will happily advise on plans for your day.
For this shoot the decor was supplied by Sweetpea & Ivy They love this venue and have dressed Trafford Hall many times. Always love their rustic styling, perfect for this venue. This time they provided an outdoor ceremony area and a fabulous barrel table laden with cakes and sweets created by Bella’s Cake Pantry The delicious cakes and cake pops were from Sue’s watercolour and silver leaf collection. Scrumptious!
Place cards and menus by Pink Sherbet Stationery perfectly matched the colour scheme on the tables set up by Sweetpea and Ivy and Wirral Table and Chair Hire The tables were adorned with evergreen leaves and candles in a long wooden container, creating a warm cosy touch. Little cut glass vases with peach roses added the touch of colour to the table. The backs of the chairs were adorned with soft pastel swags, tied in the middle with a complimentary satin ribbon. The wooden floors and giant light up LOVE letters either side of the fireplace completed the elegant rustic ook.
Pixsmiths Creative Photograph had a great time photographing the amazing Katey Elizabeth around the venue in a gorgeous dress supplied by The Wirral Wedding House The dress is a hand-finished bohemian style beaded gown from Romantica of Devon. Suited Katey so well, she made a fabulous Boho Bride!
Update 2020: It’s a real shame that this gorgeous venue had to close its doors due to government charity funding cuts. Ther is an ongoing drive to get Trafford Hall reopened. Donations have already been received. If you can help Trafford Hall please see here
What better way for The Wirral Wedding House bridal boutique to celebrate its 2nd Birthday by gathering all its fabulous partners to host an imtimate luxury bridal fayre. Golden RSVP tickets for a deluxe goody bag – which went down a treat – had brides registering for this event weeks in advance tight up to the last minute! Brides loved their goody bags, something special and unique from each of us!
The boutique was buzzing from the off as brides came to chat about their plans with all the suppliers. An inimate cat walk, our models were fabulously made up by Lou. Steph, giving all the details of the gorgous dresses went down a storm, . Having someone to expalian how dresses could be adapted to suit made it really personal> There were some teary eyed brides that had some emotional moments as they found “the one” So proud of all our Blue Orchid/Earth/Wirral Weddign House friends, we all have the same creative drive and ethos of dedication and hard work to help all our brides.
We so enjoyed talking to you all, whether you were our brides or not, we were glad to help with any advice that was needed whether for weddings home or abroad and we look forward to welcoming you to the next event – The next one will be even more amazing with new services to add – so watch this space!
Pixsmiths are deighted and proud to be part of a a luxury one-stop-wedding-shop with like-minded and quality, high-end wedding suppliers at The Blue Orchid Wedding Boutique. Our first collaboration photo shoot, took placeat 30 James St – Home of the Titanic and we are thrilled it has been featured on the leading blog, Brides Up North!
It showcases brilliantly how we can all combine to give you a bespoke co-ordinated theme and look to your day and all be prettily photographed for those lasting memories. The inspiration for this shoot first came from Cheryl of Pink Sherbert Design’s gorgeous stationery – the Ava collection – with hues of coral and navy, very contemporary. All the suppliers had great enthusiam for this sheme and each took it on board to bring about the stunning co-ordinated look. We think flowers around a table plan are totally on trend and look amazing. Sue’s cake was equally gorgeous and matched the theme perfectly. Our thanks to 30 James St, home of the titanic, a stunning Liverpool city centre location, for thie hospitality.
