Everyman Theatre Wedding: Carolyn & Philip

Everyman Theatre Wedding: Carolyn & Philip

Wedding Everyman Theatre

When a fellow photographer kindly referred us to this Everyman Theatre wedding in Liverpool, we were delighted.
Carolyn and Phil planned a perfect relaxed twilight wedding.
Guests enjoyed some pre-ceremony refreshments int the nearby bars and cafes – we already knew it was going to be a good party.
Carolyn and her bridesmaids made their way up the stairs to a waiting Philp.

Liverpool Town Hall Ceremony

The ceremony was held at the Liverpool Town Hall in the ornate small Ballroom with its impressive painting and chandeliers.
A poignant candle lighting and momentos to Carolyn’s mum were included in the ceremony.
Lots of hugs and smiles and soon it was time to exit, have a few groups shots and board the bus to the Everyman Theatre
The hoped-for photos in the gardens of St Nicholas  didn’t materialise due to a huge gathering of bell ringers for a competition
However, as they joined the guests on the Red bus we got the shot of the Liver building they wished for

Everyman Theatre Wedding Reception

This was our first time at the Everyman Teatre for a wedding reception and we were most impressed with the setup and space.
A good space to accommodate their guests with a balcony overlooking Hope St and The Catholic Cathedral.
This with the twinkly lights made for some quirky reflection shots.
Guests were well fed – the barbecued food was delicious.  The Dj and Sax player had the dance floor buzzing and a great party ensued

It was a wonderful few hours with you Phil and Carolyn. You were so much fun and glad you had an amazing evening  We wish you much happiness in the future.
These are just a few highlights from their twilight Everyman Theatre Wedding.  Hope you enjoy!

Twilight Wedding Park Hotel Netherton Wedding Photography

Delighted to cover this twilight wedding t Park Hotel, Netherton in Liverpool for Emma and Paul
We met and booked several months beforehand to plan and capture their day.
We discovered what a fun couple they were and how much family is important to them
We loved that Emma played on being a Bond girl!
It was lovely to reconnect with previous brides and groom of Pixsmiths too, always loey to be recommended.

The Park Hotel has had a lovely refurb inside and its a great space for a wedding reception.
Its located not far from the Aintree racecourse so has appropriately named rooms!

Lots of activity in the getting ready room with all the bridesmaids and flower girls, so lovely to use the bridal room for the getting dressed shots/
Wished all bridal rooms had such a lovely mirror!

Wedding ceremony room was full of friends and family and the Sefton registrars were a joy to work with and were wonderful to Paul and Emma
The Aintree Suite is a great space a wedding reception and was easily big enough for this 150+ wedding guests

Ok it can be tricky using outside space for portraits but I think we managed fairly well and Ema & Paul were delighted with their images.
Their wedding album has already been designed and approved!  Hope you enjoy these highlights.
much love Dave & Sandy xx

A lovely gift for Emma – sadly without her mum who would have been 70 this day – this bracelet with ashes meant she was walking down the aisle with her

love all the little touches like these individual guest pins and the cake topper (see further down)

Rachel & Ben’s Leasowe Castle Twilight Wedding

We were delighted to be available for Rachel and Ben’s Leasowe Castle Twilight Wedding.
Rachel contacted us not long after her best friend;s wedding, she’d seen how we worked  for Laura and Thom and knew she wanted us for her wedding
No better recommendation than that!
Ben is rather camera shy and we were under instructions not to pose for any “lovey-dovey” shots so we just did our reportage-style photography from just an hour before the ceremony through to the evening party. Rachel was just happy to be marrying her fella and have her girls as cute flower girls – such characters, kept us on our toes!

One of the shortest ceremonies, even the co-coordinator was stunned when said they were ready to walk out, yes they have signed the registers!
One of our fav moments was Rachel and her Dad walking down the aisle in the Castle Keep, when Dad reached out to hold hands with his wife.
Such a loving family moment, unique to this wedding.  Images like this are what make memories to look back so special.

A few family groups and just a couple of portraits f and then it was time to kick shoes off and party!  It was good to have the company of Rob Whibley again on the video team
We work really well together and can highly recommend if looking for a videographer.
For now, enjoy these few highlights – think we did rather well to capture several candid smiles and looks of happiness from Ben.
It really was their perfect Leasowe Castle Twilight wedding
