After a couple of gorgeous outdoor weddings, it was great to have this stunning Inglewood Manor wedding held indoors. The weather was getting a bit cooler, so indoor suited this family.
Right from the moment that Jason and Emily sent us such a beautiful email saying how much they loved our “approach and naturalistic styles of photography” and ” would adore you to be able to capture our smiles, love, and warmth in your photographs.,” we knew this was a match made in heaven. It certainly didn’t disappoint. Its no secret Inglewood Manor is one of our favourite (and most popular this year) venue but combined with a couple so full of love and not afraid to show it, was magical.
Emily and Jason made the most of the venue space. Ceremony indoors in the newly opened up Executive suite. The removal of the partitioning wall allows so much more light in, great from a photographer’s viewpoint. The wedding breakfast was downstairs in the Burton Suite with its doors leading out to the glorious view beyond to the big pond For the evening it was back upstairs to the middle room for the partying!
Bride and Groom Preps Inglewood Manor
The guys were quite relaxed as they strolled around the grounds for some pictures before the indoor ceremony. Meanwhile, Emily was a little more nervous, understandably, as the ceremony approached. Emily got ready in the beautiful Oak Room bridal suite. Her maid of Honour Kat did a wonderful job looking after her, helping her dress and keeping nerves at bay. Such a devoted friend. When her dad saw her, it was a beautiful emotional moment. We are so honoured to capture these moments. Dad proudly escorted his daughter, sweeping her down the stairs to her waiting groom.
A girl can never have too many shoes and boots!
Inglewood Manor Indoor Ceremony
The emotions continued into the ceremony with tears of joy from both bride and groom, each dabbing their eyes at moments throughout the Inglewood Manor indoor ceremony. So touching to witness., confess to a lump in my throat too and moist eyes.
Groups and Portraits
Plenty of time with theis relaxed wedding for family groups and couple shots throughout the extensive grounds. Emily and Josh love the woodland and reflection shots and they loved these results. we ended this session with a quirky shot on the steps and got in for the wedding breakfast just before a rain flurry.
Wedding Reception Inglewood Manor
Emily had requested that her flowers looked like they had been freshly picked from a meadow. They looked exactly like that, springlike fresh, so pretty and elegant. They adorned the tables for the reception and it worked a treat. Still, the emotions were running high for the speeches. Neve known such chemistry amongst family and friends.
Plenty of time afterwards for some more portraits. Emily and Jason loved exploring the grounds, they really maximised them to the full. A pathway has been made in the grass leading to the boathouse. We hadn’t often utilised this area but it’s so much improved. Their timescale meant it was a relaxed pace for everyone. Still time for mingling before the evening party kicked off with cake cut and dancing.
Evening Reception Inglewood Manor
The evening kicked ogg with cake cut and dancing – great first dance, even if Jason stod on Emily’s dress when he swept her over on the dance floor. Great moves guys! Guests were treated to a chocolate fountain and Emily and Jason had some cool presents! The cross stitch perfectly complemented the ring cushion made for them by mum. The dance floor was kept busy, everyone having a fantastic time. Emily changed into a dress for the later part of the evening, being on-trend with a cape attachment, ooh swirly!.
We really didn’t want to leave, such an amazing day. When you have couples and families who enjoy each other’s company and not afraid to display their emotions it just makes for the most perfect wedding story. This isa day we will never forget just as Emily and Jason won’t. We felt so privileged to share in this day and we wish you every happiness for the future.
If you wish us to capture your stunning Inglewood Manor Wedding we would love to hear from you. We have covered Inglewood Manor weddings throughout all the seasons – full day weddings and shorter ones. We know all the best places. We are thrilled to hear of the developments of this beautiful venue and can’t wait to be here again – not too long to wait!
Sophie and Rob planned the most perfect day for their sunflower and gin themed wedding. The flowers and buttonholes were all cleverly made by Sophie’s mum. The added an amazing splash of colour to the day. Their schedule gave them plenty of time for getting ready, enjoying the ceremony which was beautifully set up on the terrace.
Drinks and canapes afterwards with time to mingle, enjoy group photos and portraits. The magician was entertaining the guests before and after the meal. The sunshine ensured guests could make the most of the grounds after the meal and more fun with the magician Everyone had an amazing time, it really did flow. Nothing was rushed and made for a perfect relaxed fun day.
A great party in the evening and we left well into the evening as it was such good atmsophere. The bouquet toss and the merriment that caused was the icing on the cake, although some pics had to be censored!
Hope you enjoy some of our favourite images of the day. There were so many it was hard to choose, but we especially loved seeing the reactions of mum and dad when they saw their beautiful daughter dressed. A funny coincidental capture of a bubble right in front of Rob’s face.
Always a privilege to capture a wedding, something we never tire of.
The speeches included a wedding bingo-not seen that before!
Soon we will be back at this wonderful venue and hoping for our third gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony in 2019.
If this is your chosen venue and you are still searching for two experienced friendly photographers who will capture your day as it happens, then we need to talk. Please use our contact page to drop us a message about your day
Spring Outdoor Inglewood Manor Wedding Photography Emma & Kev’s bird themed Spring wedding
A spring outdoor Inglewood Manor Wedding ceremony was planned for Emma & Kev and what a delightful day for them! Inglewood Manor is now part of the Boutique Hotel Group which includes Peckforton Castle and Nunsmere Hall Hotel Always a delight to shoot here and changes are gradually taking place which is improving the venue even more. The Oak panelled room has been opened out and lets so much more light in – perfect for your wedding reception The lower Burton Suite now has doors opening out to the lawns and [ond area beyond
Spring Outdoor Ceremony Inglewood Manor
…bu back to Emma & Kev’s day. A bright spring day with daffodils and bluebells in the woodland adding a splash of colour. Bridal preps – lots of activity with hair and makeup going up. We always arrive in plenty of time to capture candid and detail shots on the fly whilst the pampering and camaraderie amongst the girls goes on. Dave captured some shots with the guys too, some cute interactions with their two boys trying to sort their hair out!
Soon it was time for the dress to go and some poignant memories of Dad – his picture in a locket tied to the bouquet. One of her sons walked Emma to her Uncle at the top of the aisle who then carried on the short walk to a waiting kevin. How lovely that that moment was shared by family members past and present. It was a privilege to witness the emotion on Emma’s face just seconds before she made that walk. so happy they had the outdoor ceremony they wanted – the first Outdoor wedding ceremony of the year for Inglewood Manor too. Emma looked stunning in her bridal dress and ooh the lads scrubbed up well too
Family Groups and Portraits Inglewood Manor
We believe family groups are important so always make time to get a few. After all iits one of the few occasions when families get together, all dressed up and in a beautiful location. For large groups an overhead shot from teh balcony is ideal. Sometimes we do groups on the steps. This day with the sun being so bright we opted for the open shade with the woodland as a glorious backdrop. Inglewood Manor is scha wonderful venue, so many areas to shoot we never tire and always look for new angles as well as favourites
Outdoor Inglewood Manor Wedding Reception
Ok so ceremony was outside but of course wedding breakfast was served inside in the Executive Suite – now beautifully opened up. No speeches at this wedding – everyone got to enjoy their food and have some down time. The bird themed table names was beautifully complemented with the birdcage cake from Suzanne Harvey and the birdcage centre pieces with their floral decorations created by Wow flowers. It looked immaculate. Also loved how Emma and Kevin had a “sweetheart table” for the two of them.
Beautiful light after the breakfast so we grabbed Emma and Kevin for some fresh air and some golden light hour shots Such a beautiful time to take some memorable portraits.
Big kids and smaller kids love the sweet cart!
…and chocolate fountain is always popular
Evening Party Inglewood Manor Wedding
Soon time for the evening fun and with Tequila band always ensured on a good time and action on the dance floor
Emma & Kev we wish you and your family so much happiness xx
Festive Winter Wedding Inglewood Manor: Penny & David
Non Traditional Festive Winter Inglewood Manor Wedding Photography
Oh such a festive winter wedding at Inglewood Manor, The rooms beautifully decked and adorned with garlands and several Christmas trees. So many gorgeous details. The snow cake with penguins and polar bear and topped with a gingerbread house. Really fittig for the festive theme. Oh and our couple were blooming amazing too, totally non traditional enjoying a first look before the ceremony and then walking down the aisle together.
Inglewood Manor Wedding First Look
It was such a lovely moment to capture and see their reactions when David turned round and saw Penny for the first time in her shimmering Monsoon wedding dress Penny had cleverly accessorised the back of her dress herself with string of pearls. The dress was stunning and so fitting for Penny So relaxed with each other, it was a delight to see and we loved their many giggles!
Inglewood Manor Wedding Portraits
We took advantage of the light before the ceremony seeing as it was a late ceremony and would be dark afterwards being a Winter Inglewood Wedding Inglewood has so many areas to take portraits we could avoid being overlooked by guests arriving for the wedding ceremony.
Inglewood Manor Wedding Photography of the Ceremony
We left them to have a few moments alone before the registrars cam to check their details before the wedding ceremony Guests meanwhile had been gathering and enjoying canapes and then entered the Executive Suite (the oak panelled room) Parents and Groomsmen, Bridesmaids and flower girl and page boy entered first before Penny and David finally entered, walking in together and looking so radiant The Bridesmaids carrying lanterns which really fitted the Christmas theme. A beautiful intimate family wedding, vows made and then what a kiss! \Soon time for the happy couple to exit for their mulled wine toast
Inglewood Manor Wedding Reception
There were a few groups but with plenty of time set aside and great cooperation they were soon done. Family pictures are so important, especially when families had travelled far and wide, many from New Zealand to be her for Penny and David. The staircase is a lovely option for photos for small groups but for larger ones we used the side room with its beautiful Christmas tree and whitish walls.
There was plenty of time to mingle before the guests moved down to the Burton Suite so festively set up for the wedding breakfast and not just with the Christmas decorations The table centre pieces were cute miniature winter scenes in fish bowls , all carefully painted by Penny herself – how creative!
There were several speeches – Father of Bride, Mother of Groom, Groom, Bestman and Bride’s sister! we love to capture the emotion and reactions during these. Plenty of emotion, laughter and toasts to enjoy. The speeches were before the meal and afterwards we left the party to enjoy their food and to continue the celebrations into the evening. This was one of our short coverage twilight weddings and shows just how much can be captured in a few hours if you don’t require your photographers all day.
Of course we took a couple of signature ring shots that we love to do – the bar in the Burton Suite made for a fab reflection and colour for the rings – how unusual are they!
Many congratulation David and Penny – it’s evident to see how much you enjoyed your day. Thank you for doing things your way and for asking us to capture the most important parts for you. Wishing you many years of happiness and health, love Sandy & Dave

We so love a wedding at Inglewood Manor!I Weddings anytime of year are special but Autumn Inglewood Manor Weddings are extra special. I know not supposed to have favourites …but just can’t resist. Its a gorgeous country house venue set in beautiful gardens and with attentive staff. Perfect for a wonderful wedding at Inglewood Manor. When Chellsi and David announced their engagement there was a whoop of delight from us – we had met this couple before at previous weddings where Chellsi was Bridesmaid ..and an even bigger cheer they they asked us to cover their wedding at Inglewood Manor. We were available, it was a done deal!
Chellsi and David have been together a few years, have travelled widely so was no surprise to see an announcement when on holiday earlier this year. We got to know them better on a pre wed shoot in Ashton Park in West Kirby. Their joy and sense of fun was infectious, we knew we were in for a good day on their wedding whatever the weather Their images from the shoot made a beautiful keepsake guest signing book, popular with our couples
Wedding Day Preps Inglewood Manor
Well the day dawned clear and bright. Chellsi got ready at Inglewood Manor with her bessies and cute flower girls Her dress from Cherish the bride was gorgeous and long! …took some getting down from its lofty perch but we managed Was really happy could stay with the girls and get a lift to the church later whilst Dave went ahead means can get so many more images – the girls loved their bracelets gifts Plenty of time to get some shots with all the the girls and get some sweeping shots of Chellsi on the stairs
St Paul’s Hooton Church Ceremony
We had photographed at St Paul’s, this gorgeous Italianate church before. Layered brickwork like a wedding cake, a lovely church to photograph in. heartfelt readings and Sing Me Merseyside Choir added that personal touch to the ceremony too Its rare a church will do weddings on a Sunday – had to check a few times we had the date right! ..but St Paul’s do after their Sunday service Chellsi was proudly led to her waiting groom by her mum, a stunning entrance she made Sunshine was out so it was groups at the church so everyone could enjoy themselves at Inglewood Manor. The wedding cars did a couple of trip which meant the newly weds had a few precious minutes all to themselves, not even us around Take time for these minutes brides …they are a rarity on your wedding day. so glad Chellsi and David had these moments together
Wedding at Inglewood Manor Wedding Reception
So we arrived at Inglewood Manor and made the most of the autumn colours, the trees had a glorious golden colour Taking some time with some portraits as we knew it would be dark by the end of the meal. The speeches were brilliant, Chellsi’s sister making an emotional speech, the best man with his well timed quips – it was laughter all around The merriment continued into the evening dancing, with Frank keating on hand to keep everyone in the loop and provide his Mr and Mrs game Sparklers rounded off a perfect evening – pitch black by then but we got the shots!
Many congratulations Chellsi and David on your autumn Inglewood Manor wedding. It was truly a privilege to be with you and wish you many more years of joy and health love Sandy & Dave xx
