A spring outdoor Inglewood Manor Wedding ceremony was planned for Emma & Kev and what a delightful day for them!
Inglewood Manor is part of the Boutique Hotel Group which includes Peckforton Castle and Nunsmere Hall Hotel

Always a delight to shoot here and changes are gradually taking place which is improving the venue even more.
The Oak panelled room has been opened out and lets so much more light in – perfect for your  wedding reception
The lower Burton Suite now has doors opening out to the lawns and [ond area beyond

Spring Outdoor Wedding Ceremony Inglewood Manor

…bu back to Emma & Kev’s day.  A bright spring day with daffodils and bluebells in the woodland adding a splash of colour. Bridal preps – lots of activity with hair and makeup going up
We always arrive in plenty of time to capture candid and detail shots on the fly whilst the pampering and camaraderie amongst the girls goes on.

Dave captured some shots with the guys too, some cute interactions with their two boys trying to sort their hair out!
Soon it was time for the dress to go and some poignant memories of Dad – his picture in a locket tied to the bouquet.

One of her sons walked Emma to her Uncle at the top of the aisle who then carried on the short walk to a waiting kevin.
How lovely that that moment was shared by family members past and present. It was a privilege to witness the emotion on Emma’s face just seconds before she made that walk
.. so happy they had the outdoor ceremony they wanted  – the first Outdoor wedding ceremony of the year for Inglewood Manor too.
Emma looked stunning in her bridal dress and ooh the lads scrubbed up well too.

Family Groups and Portraits Inglewood Manor We believe family groups are important so always make time to get a few.
It’s one of the few occasions when families get together, all dressed up and in a beautiful location. For large groups an overhead shot from the balcony is ideal.
Sometimes we do groups on the steps.  This day with the sun being so bright we opted for the open shade with the woodland as a glorious backdrop.
Inglewood Manor is such a wonderful venue, with so many areas to shoot we never tire and always look for new angles as well as favourite areas.

Outdoor Inglewood Manor Wedding Reception

Ok so the ceremony was outside but the wedding breakfast was served inside in the Executive Suite – now beautifully opened up. No speeches at this wedding – everyone got to enjoy their food and have some downtime. The bird-themed table names are beautifully complemented by the birdcage cake from Suzanne Harvey and the birdcage centre pieces with their floral decorations created by Wow flowers. It looked immaculate.  Also loved how Emma and Kevin had a “sweetheart table” for the two of them. Beautiful light after the breakfast so we grabbed Emma and Kevin for some fresh air and some golden light hour shots Such a beautiful time to take some memorable portraits, your photographers will love you for making time for these.

Rachael and Jon Got Married! Leasowe Castle wedding Photography

Relaxed Bridal Preps

Rachael and Jon had long planned their St Nicholas Church and Leasowe Castle wedding for the spring of 2017.  They had booked Pixsmiths Creative Photography almost 2 years in advance and we loved following their wedding planning journey with them.  We love to start bridal preps a good two hours before a ceremony, A relaxed time of mingling with the girls as they are being pampered for the day Rachael lost an amazing 5 stone for her wedding – a real inspiration – too and looked absolutely stunning in her dress from Cherish The Bride. We did hear the story of how a smaller-sized dress was obtained right at the last chance!

Personal touches in the Ceremony

The men opted to arrive at St Nicholas in Wallsey on their motorbikes so that was great fun and good for the video which we know Rachael will not regret. Always good to work with Rob Whibley from Action Wedding Videos too, we both have an unobtrusive style>  Rachael and her bridesmaid arrived more traditionally in the luxury Bentleys of Classic Bridal Cars Mark and Jane excelled at looking after the girls, and always so attentive and keeping them calm, on hand with tissue/umbrellas etc as needed. The ceremony itself was a touching personal service for Rachael and Jon. ~ The Rev Jeff Staples pulled out his guitar and, along with,  the choir gave a special rendition of Hallelujah which had our couple laughing and crying with joy. Even Rev Jeff himself wiped a tear from his eye. The rain made a short appearance towards the end of ceremony – we managed to get the big group and confetti outside and then opted for a few formals inside – it can tend to be windy in this location! As they came out again we had this amazing leap from Jon – they both looked so happy and so glad we could capture this real moment in the day.

Reception in the Turret Suite

On to Leasowe Castle – Rachael broke with tradition (we love a bit of non-tradition!) by travelling with her dad again as the boys rode their bikes to the Castle Time for some sweet portraits – the spring flowers in the woodland garden added a lovely splash of colour. The Turret suite, a more intimate room for weddings, was bedecked with navy colours for their colour scheme and Dvelin Designs did a fabulous job with the travel map seating plan and amusing table names appropriate to them and their upcoming amazing round-the-world mega honeymoon. We left them to enjoy their meal in peace and pooped back in for the speeches – always a favourite part of the day too for us.  Such a hilarious moment when Rachael’s Dad pulled out his speech notes, made on Ladbrokes betting slips with “HELP” spelt out on the back.

Party Time

Speeches were done and now with evening guests arriving it was time to party. Lots of fun with the chocolate fountain and Photobooth from Pixelbooth went down a treat Everyone had a fabulous time – some memorable dances, including a special one for Rachael and her dad. It was really touching to see the closeness of families and friends. and it’s a cliche but a day that meant the world to Rachael and Jon Thank you for giving us the privilege of sharing your amazing day, Your joy was so evident and thank you for being so expressive.  A fantastic day to start our wedding season.  Have an amazing honeymoon and every happiness ahead. Love and hugs Sandy & Dave xx
