Engagement Shoot Burton Manor

Thank you to the friends of Burton Manor who volunteer and look after the gardens at Burton Manor.  The gardens are situated, in an idyllic Cheshire village near the banks of the Dee.  It – eventually!  – became the ideal choice for  Steph and Warren’s Spring engagement shoot at Burton Manor.  Steph originally requested a Christmas shoot but we couldn’t get our schedules to coincide so next best was springtime blossom shots and now we are glad we waited for this time in the most perfect location for them.

The gardens are a haven of peace and so many nooks and crannies. we have been here a few times now for couple shoots at Burton Manor
– never fails to delight us and our couples, always something different to spot and new ideas according to the season.
Delighted the Bird of paradise flower was out in the restored glasshouse in the walled garden – it’s one of Steph’s favourite flowers so naturally, her stunning engagement ring made a careful appearance on it as well as the orange tulips in the walled garden.

We so enjoyed ourselves on the so sunny warm spring day, the time just flew by as we toured the gardens. We quenched our thirst at the Cottage Loaf beer garden and chatted about the upcoming plans for their wedding in Dubrovnik in just a few week’s time.  We can’t wait to be back there it’s a stunning walled city
The sun was dropping down and still warm so after our drinks, we headed down to the beach at Caldy for some gorgeous golden light portraits
A fitting end to the shoot indeed, Steph and Warren were just totally enwrapped with each other.

So many images from this shoot and delighted that several will be featured on the wedding day.  Just love it when couple’s have their own ideas on how to display their images for a personal keepsake and feature on the day. Here are just a few of the many images to enjoy!

“I couldn’t love them more.  There are so many and all amazing.
You managed to get so many different types of images”
