A wonderful wedding for Lauren and Craig: a church service at Christ the King in Bromborough and then down to Rowton Hall – a firm favoutie for a Cheshire wedding with Pixsmiths Creative Photography. A great group of suppliers in attendance too to make this a memorable day for Lauren and Craig. we were delighted to Have our Blue Orchid Booutique buddies supplying the flowers and cake – courtesy of Bell’s Cake Pantry. Classic Bridal Car also provided the transoprt – the new confetti cannon and the Baby Bentley proved very popular!
The day started very calm and chilled out at the bridal preps – bridesmaids were getting make up done and then coming to the house so plenty of time to capture details. When the girls arrived they loved their silk robes and we captured some shots with them before it was time to head to Christ the King. We were s o happy for Craig that his Dad could attend the ceemony, it meant so much to him, a big thank you to his carers for looking after him during the long service and afterwards for some important pictures.
Onto the beautiful cheshire country house hotel Rowton Hall with its refurbished gardens, perfect for groups and bride and groom portraits Sunny weather meant guests could enoy drinks and nibbles outdoors before the wedding breakfast.
A good old Irish knees up ensued in the evening – great party atmosphere – all wonderfully captured by Rob Whibley of Acion Wedding Videos – his unobtrusive style goes very well with our natural approach.
Lauren and Craig so happy you had a magical day, filled with love and fun, and wonderul for us to capture. Wishign you much future happiness xx
This is a great way to decorate the top table – having vases for the bridesmaids bouquets – plus they get hydrated if fresh flowers 🙂
A rare treat for Wirral wedding photographers. Guests at Rowton hall hotel for a family wedding! Hayley and Callum are second cousins to Dave (I think!) Great time to relax and enjoy being with family and let someone else take care of the photography. As a family we wanted to be able to relax and enjoy the moments with the couple, wedding days can be stressful for a photographer and you constantly have to be on the watch to catch those incidental moments that everyone loves. For this reason, we will rarely cover a family wedding. Wonderful to have the very talented Andrea Ellison be the photographer for the day. Great to meet at last have a bit of a chin wag – hope we didn’t stop you too much but I know you will have amazing images and look forward to seeing them.
Enjoying the wedding as guests we were conscious not to take loads of photos, mainly pics of our family…couldn’t resist a few detail shots and some reception and dance pictures in the evening. The cake was fabulous being a birdcage design. Mainly used my 50mm prime lens without flash – always good to try a few things out when you can 🙂
Love this hotel and during our time here we were delighted to see the improvements in the grounds, gorgeous new flower beds and landscaping my mind was already racing ahead to weddings we have booked here for 2015 and the layered shots we love to do with the flora. Super excited about that! The food was scrumptious as always and the staff so organised and helpful. If you are planning or have booked your wedding here oh wow are you are in for a treat!
If you would like to discuss your Rowton Hall wedding photography with us we’d be delighted to hear from you. Below some random pictures from the day. can’t wait to be back here!
Angela and Darren had their fairytale wedding day with all the trimmings of a Peckforton Castle wedding – such a priviledge for Pixsmiths to capture their memories there. Wonderful to work with Tonay and Sara from Marry Me Films too who helped us so much – hope its not too long before we see each other again on a wedding.
Bridal preps in Liverpool first, thanks to the ladies from Flossy & Leigh Make-Up Artist Company and then off to Peckforton Castle to meet the men and await the girls arrival before the ceremony.
Mango the owl behaved impeccably flying in the rings – amazing to be able to capture this as it happens so fast, but loved seeing the expression of joy on everybody’s faces. Guests enjoyed a hands on experience with the birds of prey before and after the ceremony- always a special treat at Peckforton Castle. A butterfly release for loved ones not able to be here was another first for us. Lots of fun for the kids with a bouncy castle on the castle’s green too – so much going on!!
Beautiful reception in the hexagonal dining room – the elaborate spectacular Choccywoccydoodah cake was amazing work of confection. Pretty pastels of green and pink suited the spring theme perfectlly
Lots of fun with a photobooth, a casino and dancing ensued in the evening to round off a wonderful day – DJ andthe sparkly dancefloor were provide by Hipswing Entertainment Ltd The night lights of the Castle was pink to match the colour scheme too – perfect end to a wonderful weddding.
Many congratulations Angela and Darren – here a few of their highlights. Enjoy x

Emma and Stephen had a holiday romance that stood the test tof time!
So happy for them that they could celebrate their wedding day at the beautiful Arley Hall and Gardens.
Emma arrived a few minutes late, as is a bride’s perogative, looking immaculate in her stunning dress and made up by Emma Lampkin. The bridal bouquet was likewise beautiful courtesy of OC Florist A fine spring day with their close family and friends for an intimate wedding in the beautifully appointed Drawing room of Arley Hall. So many amazing rooms at Arley that it was good to utilise several on the day. The signing of the register took place in the fine library and weding breakfast in the elegant dining room. Of course the gardens are beautiful whatever the season – so many options for beautiful pictures! Another great feature of Arley Hall is that the room does not need to be changed around for the evening as the Olmypia Barn awaits. Of course the gardens are beautiful whatever the season – so many options for beautiful pictures! The barn is set in its own courtyard space and a upper loft – so plenty of space for all the guests . Many congratulations to Emma and Stephen so glad they had such an enjoyable day and thank you for choosing us. Pixsmiths Creative Photography really enjoyed being able to capture Emma and Stephen’s memories and here is a selection of the many from their on-line gallery
Interested in Arley hall wedding photography? please get in touch we’d love to hear from you.
Catherine and Stephen booked us for a few hours to cover their wedding ceremony and reception portraits – a big thank you to Isabelle Ices for recommending us too. Origianlly they weren’t going to have photographers but Den suggested us as a relaxed couple to capture some salient moments for them – so thank you Den! It was a lovely sunny day with a ceremony at Parkgate United reformed Church and then onto Brook Meadow Hotel – ice-cream went down a treat as always – but especially so on a very warm day. Some lovely touches too – Catherine’s daughter grew the sweet peas for the bouquet and this theme was picked up in the order of service cards – simple and effective.
The beautiful grounds at Brook Meadow lend themselves for some beautiful images and here are just a few of our favourites. Many congratulations to Catherine and Stephen – wishing you much continued happiness.
So if you only need a few hours coverage or just some candid captured memories call us for a quote 🙂
Caroline is someone we have known for a long time..in fact her parents were married a month before we were at the same church… so when they rang to say their daughter was getting married you can image how time just passed before our eyes!
A shortish engagement – you can read about that and see their gorgeous pre wed shoot here – so it wasn’t long to wait for their eagerly awaited summer wedding at Inglewood Manor July soon came around and we found ourselves at the parental home capturing the getting ready shots before leaving for their church – Wirral Christian Centre.
We had shot at this lovely church before for Rob and Beccy’s wedding so knew we could capture shots from the balcony as well as the front stage. The Rev Paul Epton had given loads of useful advice to the couple which really incorporated the photographer, which enabled us to get some fab ring shots during the ceremony.
On to the beautiful venue of Inglewood Manor. A really hot day so we just grabbed a few portraits before the formal groups before the wedding breakfast. Caroline’s Mum Karen did a fantastic job with all the floral decorations and bouquets as well as the cake with all the sugar icing work , very talented lady. The long summer days meant we could wander out to the lake afterwards with our couple when light is softer and temperature more comfortable for everyone – definite plus of having us for the whole day.
Time for ice-cream from Isabelle Ices – always a good photo opportunity with them as well as tasty ice-cream – thanks guys! Been really popular with our sunny summer.
The evening kicked off with a marvellous father daughter dance – you have to see it to appreciate it! Complete surprise to everyone and went down a treat, such a privilege to witness and capture not only this but the whole day. Caroline and Ben are an amazing couple, beautiful on the inside and out, delighted for them that their day was perfect all round and so deserved. wishing you both much happiness in the years ahead ahead xx. Like our images then we;d love to be your Inglewood Manor Wedding Photographer!
